Masks for Kids, with Sports and in School
This time last year, kids were filling shopping carts with baskets of pencils, binders and backpacks and bounding back to school. This year, schools are adjusting to hybrid or online-only schooling. For children, physical exercise is just as important as mental tasks to increase cognition. The CDC's Physical Activity Guidelines recommends that children and adolescents ages 6 to 17 years do 60 minutes or more of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily. For many kids in neighborhoods around the country, that means they may be interacting with other kids outside their household. To stop the spread of Covid-19, masks for kids are a must.
The last of July is National Youth Sports Week - and with so many students beginning their school years at home, it's crucial that kids have the opportunity to run, play and exercise. All year round, it's vital as some students head back to the classroom and others interact with kids in their communities that they are able to safely engage in play. Effective, washable, breathable masks for kids make that safe and possible.
Wicked Sheets makes
masks in three sizes:
-
X-Small (with thin elastic) for children aged 2-7 years.
- Small for youth and small-framed women.
- Large for men and larger framed women.
As summer continues to heat up and kids go back to school, either online or in person, safety is paramount for parents and masks for kids are an easy way to keep Covid-19 away and allow for kids to safely interact with others, burn off some steam and get the suggested amounts of physical activity safely.
Wicked Sheets masks are made from the same materials as our AAFA certified bedding.
